Tuna fish Pizza – Pizza Tonno

Ingredients:

Dough for 10 inch Pizza:

  •    250 g    Flour
  •   ½ Pkg    Dry Yeast
  •  125 ml    warm Water
  • 1 ½ Tbs   Olive Oil
  •    ¼ tsb    Salt

Sauce:

  •   200 g    Tomatoes or 1-8oz can Tomato Sauce
  •     5-10    Fresh Basil leaves, chopped
  •    ½ tsp    Salt
  •    ¼ tsp    Sugar
  •    ¼ tsp    Pepper

Topping:

  •    1 can    Tuna Fish in Water or Oil
  •        20     Capers
  •  1 small     Onion
  •      1Tbs    Pizza Seasoning
  •     200 g    Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, optional

Directions:

Dough:
Stir the dough ingredients together.
Knead by hand to form a smooth dough.
Let rise at 90°F for 1-1½ hours, until the dough doubles in size.

Prepare a 10 inch round baking sheet with parchment paper.
Punch down the dough and roll out onto the baking sheet.

Sauce:
Combine all ingredients in blender and puree.
Spread onto dough, leaving a ½ inch edge empty all around.

Topping:
Slice onion into thin rings.
Distribute Tuna Fish on the sauce, sprinkle with the capers and place the onion rings.
Season with Pizza Seasoning to taste.
Top with Mozzarella cheese if desired.

Heat oven to 400°F and bake for 10-15 minutes until crust is golden brown.

Cut into pieces and enjoy.

Topping for a Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza:

  •    200 g    Mozzarella
  •    100 g    Pepperoni – Salami
  •  1½ Tbs    Pizza Seasoning or to taste
